Metis Australia Pty Ltd was founded in Australia in 2019 as a subsidiary of Metis Energy. Metis Energy is listed on the Singapore stock exchange (SG:L02). Headquartered in Singapore, the core business of Metis Australia spans a range of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind and energy storage projects. Metis Australia develops, finances, constructs, owns and operates its projects as a fully integrated renewable energy company, with a genuine long-term approach.

Metis Australia is partnering with SMEC, PCL and Energy Queensland to complete and energise the Gunsynd Solar Farm. SMEC will operate as the Owners Engineer for the project in the interests of Metis Australia. PCL are the EPC contractors and will construct the solar farm. Energy Queensland will be the asset managers for the 132 kV switching station. All three partnering companies will play a vital role in energising this project.

Julius Fletcher
Site Engineer
Julius is a recent Renewable Energy Engineering Graduate. However, Julius has been involved in the Gunsynd Solar Farm since December 2022.
Julius grew up in Tamworth, NSW. This is where he developed a love for the country and became passionate about making a difference through renewable energy. Julius has experience with project feasibility and is excited to develop more professionally as an engineer.
John Lawlor
Construction Manager
John Lawlor is the construction manager of the Gunsynd Solar Farm. John has (insert years) years of construction management experience, including several wind and solar projects. John will be leading the construction for the Metis Australia Team.
