The Gunsynd Solar Farm is a renewable energy project comprising of a 111MW DC / 94 MW AC solar field, located approximately 15km from the beautiful community of Goondiwindi, in the Darling Downs region of Queensland.
What is the Gunsynd Solar Farm?

This exciting project will be built in order to meet the needs of the National Electricity Market and will have the capacity to power many households.
Why are we constructing it?

This project will provide a huge economic boost to the local community of Goondiwindi. More than 150 jobs will be created during the construction of the project and many continuing during operation. This project will also deliver unique opportunities for local skills growth, education and learning.
The Gunsynd Solar Farm will make important contributions towards the QLD Government’s net-zero emissions by 2050, by supplying clean renewable energy into the grid.
